Payments: Stripe Connect
Payments are the load-bearing integration, and they run on Stripe Connect — the same infrastructure behind Shopify and Lyft. From Settings → General, Stripe's guided onboarding links your bank account in about ten minutes. From then on: guests pay on Stripe's hosted checkout, the money is processed on your own Stripe account, and payouts land in your bank daily— automatically, without a “request payout” button in sight.
The connection carries the whole money lifecycle: cards saved on file for balances and store charges, refunds issued from the reservation, monthly invoices with hosted pay links, and the payout reconciliationthat unpacks each bank deposit. Card rates are Stripe's standard published rates; Bunkpost adds no percentage of its own — the model is a flat $3 guest booking fee, explained on the pricing page.
RemoteLock: the gate that reads the calendar
Connect your RemoteLock account, pick which gate or door devices Bunkpost should manage, and every reservation gets its own gate PIN — valid from arrival day through checkout day, delivered on the stay page and in the reminder email. Cancel the reservation and the PIN dies with it. No more whiteboard of codes, no more gate code that half the county knows.
WiFi vouchers: works with what you have
If your park WiFi hands out access codes — UniFi, Guest Internet, Omada, most captive portals — export a batch and paste it into Settings → Guest info. Bunkpost hands each stay its codes at check-in (you choose how many, up to 20) and tracks the pool so you know when to top it up. Details in Team, security & guest info.
The quiet ones
- Calendar files (iCal): every stay page offers an add-to-calendar file that drops the trip into Apple, Google, or Outlook calendars.
- Accounting exports: the transactions CSV maps onto QuickBooks columns — reports chapter has the column list.
- Google & Facebook sign-in: for you and your staff — one less password.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: invisible bot protection on public forms, so the waitlist collects campers instead of spam.

These are named in the app today with a “tell us which one your park needs first” button, and that button is not decorative — roadmap order follows real requests from real parks.
